Friend

Is Allah [swt] your friend?A true friend… Though always wishes to be there for us, Accompany us, treat us like a kind, loving nurse; But he/she will leave sooner or later As he/she knows that nothing could last forever.

Is Allah [swt] your friend?

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful.
May peace and His blessing be upon Prophet Muhammad and his purified progeny.

All praise belongs to Him and Him alone,
To Whom belongs the highest, magnificent Throne,
That He created us as human beings
And exalts our status over everything!

All praise belongs to Him and Him alone.
He created creation, that He may be known!
Sending the Holy Prophet as His messenger
To spread the ultimate truth: “God is one, with no partner.”

Now that we acknowledge Allah as our Creator, and Prophet Muhammad as His messenger, we beseech Him to purify our deed, our action and our intention purely for the sake of gaining proximity to Him…

A true friend…
Wow. Indeed, one of the greatest blessings from God,
Reflecting the Mercy and Beauty of our Omnipotent Lord.

A true friend…
Is hard and difficult to find,
But once we see his/her beautiful sign
That manifests the inner personality which shines
The darkness of the heart, and the stagnancy of the mind.

A true friend…
Is indeed just a light
Guiding us towards the Truth, his/her sight
Reminding us of none other but the Creator,
The ultimate source of Mercy, Kindness and Love.

A true friend…
His/her criticism is but a sign of concern
Of wishing nothing but our happiness, yet often
We misinterpret his/her intention,
Leading us to having a negative opinion.

But a true friend…
Instead of getting angry,
Instead of turning friendship into enmity,
Turns to us and says:

“Even though you may wish me to stay away,
A true friend would always stay
Through the gloomy night, and raining day
‘Til the light of hope extinguished I may say.”

A true friend…
Though always wishes to be there for us,
Accompany us, treat us like a kind, loving nurse;
But he/she will leave sooner or later
As he/she knows that nothing could last forever.

Yet,
Our memory would always stay fresh and clear,
Serving as a bell which rings in the ear.
Nothing that we have except silent prayer
Connects and strengthens our souls together.
