Rolling swells blanket the horizon,
Deep blue, violet, and black.
Waves sway in this tranquil picture,
An illusion of serenity decorates this night.

Brooding waters,
Silence unforgiving.

I have left the cliffs of my home,
Yet I shall return to my Love.

The swells rise,
This sea swallows me.

Black voyage,

Fog engulfs.
