The river has parted
I follow Moses
Kiss your cold grave
Put down the Roses

Blow back winds
Take me back

The smile on your face
Memories can't be erased
Time that can't be replaced

A future bright and sunny
As I journey
To the land of milk and honey

Wipe the tears
Grind your teeth
Only God knows
How a heart bleeds

The storm approaches
Step on Noah's Ark
Steadfast and Resilient
Brightness in the dark

Perplexing period
Forced to revise

Obstacles sharpened the sword
A believer's belief, again restored
A destination that is marched toward

The future holds for me a home
As I journey
With an empty soul all alone

Clutch my aspirations
Goals I desire
Trust in my abilities
A faith that is required

I feel like your poetry always has a deeper meaning.... I like how I have to think about it sometimes
Deep and moving
