Let Your name never part my lips, ascend my spirit through existence
Tighten Your rope if I lose grip, and extend time if I grow distant
No desertion at the ship, I transcend storms with Your assistance

You provide to the peaceful and pure in the womb
You protect the defenseless flowers that bloom
Breezes You send are blessings and the waves they create are benediction
When weighty mistakes are pressing, prayers alleviate the soul’s affliction

I lack comprehension, I am an ungrateful being
I follow convention, I chase a world that is fleeing
You are all knowing and sustain your creation
Your worship breaks my chains and leads to salvation

You are the peace of my heart and the blue shade of my sky
Life’s beat that never parts, the Sublime that most deny
You are the anchor of my soul, and cool of my wind
You are the joy after charity and the guilt after sin

You teach the young and you guide the old
The breath of lungs and what the eyes behold
Your tests gift patience and my reward is tranquility
As one takes flight on your plane they sink in humility

Grant me power to escape bondage, so that I can be free
I am an unworthy creature, but do accept my plea…

Let Your name never part my lips, ascend my spirit through existence
Tighten Your rope if I lose grip, and extend time if I grow distant
No desertion at the ship, I transcend storms with Your assistance
