Silkcharm Scarf
As it happens every season, there are tons of runway-inspired trends that we'll be seeing in stores this spring. From the hothouse floral prints to quirky accessories, you're sure to find a trend that you like. And we've got a head to toe guide for hijab-appropriate pieces that will satisfy the fashionista in you. Up first, The Prints: Floral, Global, and Zebra.

Floral. This season is a return to all things girly, and there's nothing more girly than a lovely floral print. We're seeing them on everything from shoes and handbags to dresses and jewelry. However you like them, try adding a floral piece to your wardrobe for a fresh hint of style this Spring. Here are a few of my favorite floral finds:

A pretty floral silk scarf that could rival any Tesettur style. Link: Silkcharm, $37.95

A sweet flower applique top to layer with cardigans and long sleeve tees. Link: Zapelle, $86.73

A modish floral print pump to pair with anything from a classic suit to a more casual outfit for an interesting twist. Link: Bamboo, $19.99

Global. Up next on my list is the Global print trend. Fashion designers have been inspired by tribal prints from Africa, folkloric prints from years passed, colorful prints and textures from India, and other ethnic arts. While the authorities can't agree on whether to call this trend Global, Tribal, Bohemian, or otherwise, they can all agree that these organic-inspired prints are a definite Fashion Do. Here are some of my picks:

A silk scarf hand-painted in an ombre style. Link: Ulrike, $160 DR

An easy swing dress to pair with wide leg pants and a blazer for a look that's simple and chic. Link: Zapelle, $46.73

Versatile, beaded flats that can be dressed up or down. Link: Beverly Feldman, $99.99

Zebra. Last on my list of trendy prints for Spring is the zebra print. I have to say that I love animal prints and I think that any girl can wear them. A subtle way to wear an animal print would be to wear it on your shoes with a monochromatic outfit. For a stronger look, you could do a zebra print trench... Check out some of my zebra print favorites below.

An underscarf to layer with a black hijab - or red if you're daring! Link: Silkcharm, $14.98

A zebra print trench to wear on those rainy Spring days. Link: Via Spiga, $69.98

A chunky wedge shoe with buckle detailing. Link: Steve Madden, $62.97

The key to wearing any bold print is to wear it in moderation. So, whether you go for floral prints, global prints, or zebra prints, don't wear them all together. If you're bold, you could probably get away with wearing two prints in one outfit, but my philosophy is K.I.S.S. Keep it simple sweety and you'll be printed with style this Spring.
